Within those schools, I have taught physical education and health while creating cross-curricular activities with science, English and math. Fitness Scavenger Hunt
These sheets can be cut up and scattered around for students to find. Working with partners, students will read a determine what activity is being asked from the riddle. While students are moving from clue to clue, they are given different locomotor skills to preform. This can lead to a discussion on what muscles are being used and which activities caused students to use more energy or increase heart rate.
