As an elementary classroom teacher, I enjoyed creating assessments that challenged my students to think creatively, and express their understanding of content in both traditional and nontraditional formats.
In 2008, Teaching Children Mathematics published my article titled, “Students Control Their Own Learning: A Metacognitive Approach” (https://eric.ed.gov/?id=EJ809146).

More recently, I have been staying at home with my 4 young children. I also have a stationery business (LetterLearning.com) that allows me to design and create stationery for children with traceable message, so kids of all ages and writing abilities can send their own thank you notes and greetings.

Math Memory Adding Between 0-20
Math Memory Games for Kids - Includes 1 game with Addition 0-20 only Each game has 32 cards in all (16 unique expression and 16 corresponding answers). Your kids/students will have a great time improving their math skills AND remembering where the matches are at the same time! You should print each set of cards and cut them out. Instructions are included on each page. Pages will print on 8.5" x 11" (letter sized paper) unless you change the settings.

Math Mazes - Addition/Subtraction Fun, Enrichment
6 different "math mazes" that ask kids to find the path from start to finish by doing addition and subtraction. Includes "greater than" and "less than" concepts. Most numbers are under 200, but there is borrowing and regrouping required. Recommended for kids in 2nd-5th grade depending on math ability.

Free Rounding Game, Rounding to Tens and Hundreds Place with Playing Cards
Free game that only requires a deck of cards. Asks students to pick 2 or 3 cards (depending on place value), and then create the largest and smallest numbers using those digits. Also asks students to round each number to the nearest tens or hundreds place. Includes extension questions as well. Can be adapted to focus on any place value.

Multiplication Flashcard Bundle (0-12) - 3 Different Sets
Includes 3 different sets of (0-12) multiplication flash cards: - 1 traditional set - 1 set that replaces the "x" sign with the words "groups of" - 1 set that requires students to determine the missing factor (given the multiplicand and product) Combine some or all of the sets so your students can play games like War or Matching. Please print a couple pages as a test first, especially if you are printing 2-sided to get the answers on the backs of the cards. If you have any formatting issues
