GREAT Bulletin Board! These posters compare a growth mindset (able to learn) and a fixed mindset (intelligence is static). For example, a fixed mindset may say something like "I give up." A growth mindset would rephrase that as "Let me use some of the strategies I learned." This is a great reminder for students and teachers of the importance of working hard, persevering, and learning from mistakes!

I wonder sheets are a fantastic way to help build an environment that values and support inquiry. A very easy thing to do is to have copies of these available for students at any point. As they come up with wonders/questions, they should jot them down. Put them in a big bowl. When you have time, you can explore the wonder as a group OR students can use this as a jumping off point for independent research projects.
