Whenever I introduce a lesson, I try to have loads of pictures and information. I felt the my students took well to this Penguin lesson so I thought I'd post it. Since I didn't take the photographs I'm not charging. I did a lesson with my Kinder art classes on drawing habitats and will use the same document to intro a sculpture lesson with my first grades. I taught 7th and 8th for 5 years and am currently teaching K-6.

Teaching style

I like giving students options and leaving projects kind of open ended to leave room for interpretation. I also like making my projecting interdisciplinary as much as possible to draw the students in on another level and help give further, varied exposure to information they are learning in their classes to encourage a deeper understanding.
