This document contains a passage about the life and art of Pablo Picasso, a quiz (with answer sheet), and a connect the dots picture of the artist. I left it in a Word Doc to make it easy to edit. I hope everyone enjoys it!

I put together this map making project. The students can design their own park. They are directed to brainstorm, come up with a map key, design the actual park, and create directions to some of the main attractions. Being an art teacher, I would have them translate this into a 3D model, but this could be used in any social studies class.

It's actually called a snow-person to make it gender neutral. Students will learn about design, setting/background, and will practice their writing skills by turning their art into a picture prompt. The file includes a snow-person with instructions, a writing sheet for older students, and one for younger ones that might need wider lines.
