This document is a description of book response ideas that students may choose after reading a book independently, either during class or outside of class. Students have a variety of types of responses, and they can turn in their responses and get the teacher to punch the card to keep track of what they have completed. Teaching style
I want to facilitate students' own discoveries and lead them to think critically. Learning is naturally engaging when students explore their own interests and are exposed to new ideas and knowledge. Literacy (reading, writing, and language) is the key to learning and the way to make knowledge stick in long-term memory.
