This is a simplified rubric for students to use for peer-editing of writing. I also specified the use of Tier 2 and Tier 3 words and the use of explicit and inferential evidence(CCSS RI.6.1, RI.7.1, and RI 8.1). Likewise, I included a simpler version of Tier 2 words in parenthesis.

This is an editable worksheet for an Interactive Notebook (input/learning) section. Simply have students work on a literary piece and practice citing evidence. This is a rubric with 7 writing criterion that allows the teacher to edit to fit his/her individual essay requirements for each "point" section.
