This is a contract signed as soon as the girls are picked for the squad. Parents and students both sign. This way everyone knows what the rules/expectations are and so when a rule is broken or situation occurs you are covered in writing and the discipline goes accordingly. You can edit the document to be school specific. This has been a life saver for me at the middle school level and our high school uses it also.

This is a breakdown for tryouts for the judges and the coach to use when scoring each student. It's out of a possible 100 points.

We put this in the beginning of their binder so that after they master a topic they can check it off or the teacher can initial. Break up students into two groups one supporting the idea of theories and one supporting the idea of law. (This is a lot like “which came first the chicken or the egg”) Have students create a chart of the reasons why they think they are right about their topic. Have one group from each side debate using their chart as a visual aide and have the other students ask questions and use examples.
