About the store
Hello! Welcome on our store! We are Alix and Rodrigo, a language teacher and a developer with a background in neuroscience & psychology. Together, we design ready-to-use ESL & FSL digital classroom resources. Our aim is to create meaningful and engaging activities, games & stories that are enjoyable for both teachers and learners. I, Alix, started my journey as a primary school teacher un France, working with kids from 3 to 12. Those years gave me a lot of hands-on classroom experience across different levels, and a clear sense of what actually works with young learners. I've always been drawn to discovering other cultures, which led me to teach abroad in Australia, China, Vietnam, Tunisia and Canada. Working with children from so many different linguistic and cultural backgrounds naturally led me to focus on teaching French as a foreign language. Over the years, I've taught in a variety of settings (classrooms, online, at the Alliance Francaise and in AEFE schools) which helped me adapt my teaching to very different students and learning needs. Like many teachers, I started creating my own materials for my lessons. Though that, I learned how important it is to keep things simple, clear, and easy to use, especially when time is limited. Today, I create interactive resources with my husband Rodrigo. He has a background in game design, neuroscience, and psychology, and he is the programmer behind our work. Together, we design materials that are practical, intuitive, and based on both classroom experience and research on language aquisition. Rodrigo has worked on the design and development of websites, applications, and games, bringing both technical and creative skills to our projects. He also has experience working with neurodivergent children, which has deepened his understanding of different learning needs. In addition, he has worked as a tutor and assistant researcher in university courses, where he supported students and contributed to academic projects. This combination of technical work, teaching experience, and research informs the way we build resources that are both engaging and thoughtful.

Teaching style

My teaching style is practical, structured, and focused on making learning feel natural for children. I like to keep things simple and clear, with activities that are easy to set up and that students can quickly understand. I place a strong emphasis on interaction, repetition, and meaningful use of the language, so that students are actively involved rather than just listening. I also try to create a positive and reassuring environment, where children feel comfortable participating and making mistakes. Over time, I’ve learned to adapt my approach to different learners and contexts, but I always come back to the same goal: helping children build confidence and enjoy the process of learning a new language.

Awards & shining teacher moments

The most meaningful moments in my teaching journey have always been the small ones—when a student starts to feel confident, participates more, or begins to use the language on their own. Seeing children engage, take risks, and enjoy learning is what matters most to me. Teaching in different countries and working with a wide range of learners has been incredibly rewarding, and these experiences continue to shape the way I design my resources today—with a focus on clarity, engagement, and real progress in the classroom.

My own education history

I (Alix) completed my teacher training in France, where I qualified as a primary school teacher. I later specialized in teaching French as a foreign language through the DAEFLE certification. My training, combined with my classroom experience, has shaped the way I approach language teaching, with a focus on clarity, progression, and how children naturally acquire a new language. Rodrigo holds a Bachelor’s degree in Game Design and Digital Entertainment. He also completed an Associate degree in Arts with a focus on Psychology in Canada, and has taken additional coursework in behavioral neuroscience. His academic background combines creative design, technical development, and a strong interest in how people think and learn, which naturally supports the way we design our interactive materials.

Additional biographical information

I’m French, Rodrigo is Brazilian, and we met in Canada. We speak multiple languages together every day and are currently learning Japanese, so we truly understand what it’s like to learn, make mistakes, and grow with a new language. We’re just starting this project and are genuinely excited to be building it together, combining teaching and programming to create simple, interactive resources that make life easier for teachers and more engaging for students.
