About the store
I am in my 30th year of teaching. The first 4 were in Pre-K, the next 13 were in Kindergarten. I taught 2nd Grade for 10, which is lots of fun! I taught 2nd Grade 2 years for a virtual school. I loved it! All good things must come to an end. I went back to the classroom, taught 1st Grade for a year, and now I'm teaching K again.

Lunch Choices Sign
I use this to have the children make their lunch choices each day. Our school has 3 choices everyday, and I write the choice under each letter (ex: A - Pizza). Tools of Good Readers (Reading Strategies)
Based on Dr. Jean's song, "The Tools of Good Readers," This poster helps students to remember basic reading strategies:
1. Look at the pictures.
2. Sound out the letters.
3. Go back and read it again.
4. Do you see a smaller chunk that you can read?
The song is a rap that students will love, and can be found on Dr. Jean's "Totally Reading" CD or for download at her site, http://www.drjean.org .
