This format serves as a simple and easy-to-use template for students when responding to any type of extended response when reading novels, short passages, non-fiction text, etc. Students incorporate evidence from the passage as support followed by their own thoughts, ideas, opinions. Template then transfers easily into a formal paragraph.
Contains job sheets for literature circles that can easily fit into a small journal of sorts. Includes a description of the responsibilities involved as well as a contract for students and parents to sign indicating their understanding.
