Math Self Assessment and Questionaire
This is a tool that can be used in elementary school, middle school and high school mathematics classes so that students can self assess their own attitudes about math. There are four categories so that you will be able to identify at the minimum where they stand in one direction or the other. This can be used after an activity, in between grading terms, or after a test, in the beginning and end of a school year, or as an individual center activity. Promotes self reflection and meta-cognition.

Teaching style
Discovery based learning is my favorite way to teach! Students are able to learn at their own pace. Active engagement is necessary for the mind to stretch. The joy of learning is experienced first hand for each student individually which is why I love to teach in the first place.
