Parallel Lines Cut by a Transversal Chart and Practice
This chart is great to use as a simple way for students to summarize all of the different relationships of angles formed when parallel lines are cut by a transversal. There is space for you to write the words "congruent" or "supplementary." There is also room for you to write all of the congruent or supplementary angle pairs, and also room to create an example, if you choose to do so. This foldable is great for interactive notebooks and/or guided notes. It goes through three examples of graphing linear equations using a table. There is also helpful information, reminders, and directions for how to do this on the inside of the foldable. Copy 2 sided. The students will fold 'hamburger' style and cut on the 2 lines on the cover to make 3 flaps.

Two Step Equations Halloween Worksheet (Circuit)
There are 12 problems included on this worksheet. The students will begin solving in the top, left box. The answer will be in a different box. They will then solve that problem. Slope intercept form MATCHING activity graphs and equations
Included are 10 graphs and 10 equations. Students can cut them all apart and match each graph with its corresponding equation. This is a great interactive notebook activity. Graphs are numbered and equations are lettered, so it's easy to read through the correct matches or quickly check them as you move around the room. This is a great follow up to any activity where students discover slope intercept form for themselves.

This is a self checking circuit worksheet. The students will begin in the top left box and solve that problem. The answer will appear in a different box, then they will solve that problem. They will work their way through all 14 problems and end up back at the starting box. This includes one each of a no solution and an infinite solutions problem.

Proving Triangle Similarity Notes Handout Guided Notes and Examples
These are simple and straightforward. They give you an opportunity to do at least 2 examples of each of the three theorems....along with more examples on page 2. This will work for interactive notebooks if you print at 80%.

Ratio Boxes Guided Notes & Worksheet (Ratio and proportions word problems)
Ratio boxes are a visual way for students to set up their proportions when solving story problems. Their goal is to complete 2 rows inside of the ratio box, and then use those two rows to set up their proportion. Once their proportion is set up, they can use the cross product property (cross multiply) and solve it. These are very helpful for varied learning levels. These guided notes slowly remove the ratio boxes and force the students to draw their own.

Investigation! Parallel lines cut by transversals
Students will follow this simple investigation using patty paper to learn about the properties of parallel lines cut by transversals. The worksheet walks them through the process. You will need to give them the specific vocabulary for what the relationships are, however, they get to see how and why angles are congruent or supplementary. Can fit in interactive notebooks if copied at 80%.

Graphing 2 Variable Inequalities Matching Activity Interactive Notebook
Included in this matching activity is 10 graphs and 10 inequalities. Students must match each inequality to its graph. This is a great interactive notebook activity. To get them to fit on one page, students could glue the graphs on top of each inequality as a flap...so they are able to quiz themselves when preparing for assessments. Answer key is included.

Simplifying Radicals Tarsia Puzzles Activities
No prep required for this activity! Print and go! Tarsia puzzles are engaging and challenging activities for most learners! Most of my students enjoy them! These radicals are all square roots. They will cut out each triangle, simplify the radicals that can be simplified, and then match the original radical to its simplified version. When they are finished, the puzzle shape will look like it did before they cut the triangles apart. I created a version with variables and a version without.

Angle Pair Relationships Color Coded Pics and Chart
Two large diagrams that you can color code along with your students. Then a chart where you could have your students summarize/recall what they learned during color coding. Practice is also included at the end. If you copy this at 80%, the charts would fit into your interactive notebooks.

Proportions foldable
This foldable covers the three common proportions problems; algebraic, real world, and similar polygons. All three flaps have a bit of a reminder that relates to the flap. This is a summary of solving proportions (and not in-depth notes) because my students had geometry last year...and are currently in Algebra 1. So, this should be a review for them. Teaching style
I have used interactive notebooks for about 5 years now. Students love having a place for their notes, they enjoy the organization, and they enjoy the 'easy' points when I grade them. I ask a lot of questions during the hour and always give the students time to think. If I will be asking random students for answers, I warn them that it's coming, ask them to write down their answers and check them with their group members, and THEN I randomly ask a student to share their "guess" as I call it (in case they're wrong). I try to keep my students from getting bored. Math isn't exciting for most high school students so I try my best to keep my class light and as fun as I can.
