I was a College and Career Counselor for two large public high schools in Virginia and Florida, and prior to that taught grades 4-6 in Colorado, Hawaii, Washington, Guam, and Japan. My husband worked for the military, so we moved all over the world with our two (now grown) children. I've been fortunate enough to have taught the most resilient, welcoming and worldly kids around.
