About the store
This is my 17th year teaching, with the last 5 years being in third grade. Even after 17 years, I still LOVE teaching! The new Common Core standards have had me pretty busy creating my own materials this past school year. A friend suggested I get on TPT and share some of my material. I hope that you like what I have to offer. I am completely open to suggestions and any feed back you have to offer. Thank you for taking the time to view my work. I hope to post new items soon!

Magnets Test 3rd Grade

I've created this test to accompany any magnet unit a 3rd grade teacher would use. It is a rigorous 20 question test that addresses vocabulary and applications students would have observed while investigating magnets. The test does include an answer key. Once I have recorded grades, I have found it beneficial to pass the test back out to students and have them highlight the correct answers with a yellow crayon. The students then glue the tests into their Science notebooks for future study ma

If you are like me, you are constantly searching for ways to reward your students for good behavior. These rewards are things you probably already have in your classroom, or ideas that you typically use – but maybe never thought to use as a reward. The beauty of it is – you don’t have to spend any money – and the kids love the rewards. Over the years I’ve seen suggestions in various magazines and discussed various ideas with colleagues. I’ve taken several of these ideas and put them into a
