This is a quick 10 page guide to the TI-84 calculator. It goes step by step through all the main operations you need to be able to perform on your calculator in order to obtain a "5" on the AP Calculus Exam. This helper pamphlet was written by a calculus student for calculus students - simply to help out - and by the way... he got a "5"!
Great activity for Newton's Third Law. Just a quick and easy lab sheet for the classic balloon rocket lab for 8th grade physical science but also appropriate for high school physics and conceptual physics or for 5th-7th graders that have more than one class period. Includes materials needed, procedure and some questions for students to answer. I put two of these to a page so that paper can be saved. Just a simple lab - but one of the year's favorites!!

Experience
I have been a teacher for 25 years. Most of this time has been spent teaching high school physics and Calculus but I have also taught most all math and science subjects in grades 6-12.
Teaching style
I teach a hands-on science class where students learn by doing. In my math and physics classes I like the students to understand what they learn and also practice. I try to make both math and science fun and enjoyable but also challenging and content rich.
