About the store

Experience

I have been fortunate to teach fabulous first and second graders for eight years. This is my fourth year working as a Reading Specialist in K-5. Before becoming a teacher, I operated my own graphic design business for many years.

Additional biographical information

Before becoming a teacher, I was a graphic designer and ran my own graphic design business. This background has been so useful in making fun, visual lessons for students. I have served on our district Literacy Committee, Technology Committee, and Building Leadership Team, plus I managed our school website.
