Math concepts covered in this slide show are; percentage and decimal conversion, plant propagation rate, pounds to tons conversion, and seed to acreage calculation. This slideshow includes instructions for how to solve problems along with practice problems as well within the slideshow. Following this slide show utilize the Plant Propagation Math Student Worksheet for further student practice time.

This two page table of contents allows students to track their progress in their interactive notebooks. Using my "stamps as participation points" system this table of contents allows students to continually track their stamps while keeping their notebooks organized and neat. Additional biographical information
I have been teaching for 11 years and I have had extensive training in inquiry based learning. I continue daily to push myself to develop new and innovative ways to incorporate reading and writing into my agriculture classroom. I have hosted numerous student teachers and mentored many others around the state. I have been invited and led numerous state level workshops at state and national conferences.
