This chart has keywords that students encounter in word problems. Intended specifically for 3rd grade math instruction, but could be used for 4th and 5th. The addition/subtraction sections could also be used in primary grades. Can be printed and hung on the wall as an anchor chart or printed as quarter sheets, cut, laminated, and taped to students' desks. Black and white version as well as color. Enjoy!

I am a proud special education teacher! I currently teach 3rd and 4th-grade students, but I have previously taught 2nd and 6th-8th. I am passionate about making curriculum-based materials accessible for my students by providing digital tools and accommodated materials.
Teaching style
In addition to making materials and instruction inclusive for my students, I also want their educational experience to be empowering. I focus on building their confidence by highlighting their existing skills and prior knowledge when we are attempting new and challenging tasks.
