Experience

I am currently a math intervention teacher for grades 3, 4 and 5 and a teacher leader. As a teacher leader I have the privilege of working with teachers on a variety of instructional ideas. I have also taught kindergarten, second, third and fifth grades.

Teaching style

I enjoying learning about new techniques and ideas. As a result, my style reflects my current learning. I believe that students should understand what they need to learn and why. It is exciting to set goals with students then work to help them achieve their goals.

Awards & shining teacher moments

This past school year has been one of my favorite years. As a new math intervention teacher, in a new school I was welcomed to the school and more importantly into the classrooms. The opportunity to know the students and teachers in our school through math has been such an honor.
