Distance Learning Math: Using Models to Solve Patterns
This video uses models to come up with patterning rules. The video goes over the difference between multipliers and constants, and how a table of values is used to determine a linear pattern rule based on repeated addition. Like other videos in my distance learning series, GIFs and music are used to make the material more engaging for students

I have been a middle school teacher for the past 20 years. I have also taught briefly at University.

My teaching style is fairly relaxed. I enjoy healthy debate in my class, as well as group work! Students are always learning from each other!
