2 Activities 1. Tasks that have students discovering the exponent rules by looking at solved problems and trying questions. Includes negative exponent, zero exponent, product, quotient, power of a power, power of a product, power of a quotient, and fractional exponent rules. Can be set up as stations or can just be given one task, then when they complete it and have it checked for accuracy they are given the next. 2. Exponents Challenge Questions - Error recognition - Some challenging exponents

In this activity students go from station to station (6 stations) decoding a message that describes a classroom expectation. Each station also has a question about the expectation and a discussion / get to know you question. Students then create their own puzzle with another expectation they think should be added.
