Quiet Students? Engagement? Curiosity? Competition?
This is a fantastic whole class activity involving the above four categories. During the silent board game, students will be given certain inputs of a function, and then they have to guess the outputs and the rule of the function. Points will be awarded to either the teacher or the class. Included are five rounds of linear patterns and two rounds of non-linear patterns.
It's so exciting to see students silent yet engaged and even on the edge
Quick and easy review or practice for solving and graphing inequalities.
Set of 24 cards.
One student will start, and share their "I have" inequality. They will then ask "who has" their graph inequality. The person that has the match will stand up and link next to the first student and continue the process until a giant circle forms!
