Teaching style

I strive to make music exciting and rewarding for my students. When students are pushed to excel, they meet our expectations and feel a sense of pride. I incorporate aspects of Orff-Schulwerk and Kodåly in the classroom. Lessons are based on meeting standards, but each lesson must pass this test: Will I enjoy it? If I am having fun, my students will, too. My mission is to make music education challenging, effective, and engaging for all learners. In other words, I want to make music rock!
