Set up 3-4 levels of instrument groups, and students simply move to the next level to continue playing. An optional method of play even allows students to earn their way back to the top level. Teaching style

I strive to make music exciting and rewarding for my students. When students are pushed to excel, they meet our expectations and feel a sense of pride. I incorporate aspects of Orff-Schulwerk and Kodåly in the classroom. Lessons are based on meeting standards, but each lesson must pass this test: Will I enjoy it? If I am having fun, my students will, too. My mission is to make music education challenging, effective, and engaging for all learners. In other words, I want to make music rock!
