It covers sooooooo many third grade math standards in this one activity. It hits fractions, graphing (2 types), word problems, multiplication, addition, and more!
This freebie is for students to practice their fraction partitioning and numberlines. This sheet can be used as a math center, homework, or independent practice. Enjoy this freebie!
One of the best ways for students to see their growth in a year is tracking it themselves! Research says there is power in students knowing their data and seeing gains. In this packet you will find the following pages for students to graph their data;

Mama Mia! Fractions can be a bit of a "Mama Mia! What is the deal?" right? Well here are several activities that can help your students with mastering several skills that are aligned with third and fourth grade standards. This is a low prep day with all of it being printable and just go to your local pizza stop and grab a few pizza boxes. This day is great for reviewing these concepts in an out of the box way! These task cards are great for students to practice partitioning shapes into equal groups. This is a new concept for third grade babies and is hard for them to understand sometimes. These cards give students extra practice as they are asked to partition the shape given to them and find the unit fraction. These cards come in black and white and in color. Check them out!
This scavenger hunt let's students practice those two step addition and subtraction word problems. Each problem requires students to complete two step addition or subtraction word problems that not only get them reading and solving math problems but also gets them up and moving! This scavenger hunt is also self checking. If students cant find the answer then they need to realize the wrong answer on their paper. These word problems are created for SC READY 4.NSBT.4 and can apply to common core s
These cards are available in black and white and color. These cards are basic division facts that students can use in centers, teachers can use to make whole group more interesting or for independent tasks. I have also sent these home for homework and in practice study bags.
This math center activity is great for practicing parts of a set. Students will draw a card with a fraction on it. They will look to the denominator to find the correct set they are looking for and then color in the numerator part of the set after rolling the dice to see the color they will color with. This is so engaging for my students to practice fractions of a set. They love to color and adding in the practice of identifying the parts of a fraction in the numerator and denominator.
Integrate this fun shape sort activity with Dr. Seuss week! This was a great activity to complete after reading the Dr. Seuss book. This sorting activity helps students see the properties of a quadrilateral.

This freebie gives students a chance to practice their multiplication skills in a fun clip game.
To use these students will put a clip on the answer for multiples of the number in the middle of the card.
You can add a timer element for more of a game element or keep it simple for practice before multiplication test.
This fun math game mat gets students engaged in distributive property practice without the boredom. This game is a freebie for you and your students as they get some practice in for this concept.
This freebie includes 24 number cards that go up to the hundred thousands place value. These cards also have double numbers in each card (ex. 939) so you can use these for upper grades for magnitude in numbers. (The 9 in the hundreds place is 100 times larger than the 9 in the ones place.)
I print these black and white cards on astrobright paper and laminate them for repeated use in whole group lessons and math stations during place value and operations.
