I have been working with children for almost 15 years! I have taught different grade levels in different school-type settings. I have taught preschool in a private school, as well as in a consultation firm for students with special needs. I have taught first grade, third grade, and was an elementary math specialist for students K-4. I love getting experience at different grade levels because it helps me create a lot of great activities that I hope to share with you soon!

Experience

Teaching style

I am a very hands-on, activity- based teacher. I believe in children actually engaging in projects and games to help make their knowledge meaningful to them! Helping students make sense of problems and persist throughout them will help us shape the best learners!

Awards & shining teacher moments

I received two scholarships in college for Teaching Excellence in Math and Science and have been a member of the National Honors Society. Throughout college, I was also recognized for academic success, graduated Cum Laude, and was on the Dean's List the last two years of my education.
