Starry Bucks is a token economy developed for a Resource Room, inspired by a general education classroom and is utilized in a self-contained classroom for students with emotional disturbances. A token economy is designed to reward students who choose to follow the rules and demonstrate safe, appropriate behavior. Starry Bucks can be used classroom wide or as a Tier 2 RTI intervention.
