Characterization Lesson (using the teacher and student!)
I usually do this activity in the first few days of school in my English/Language Arts classroom. Students practice identifing character traits of a good teacher and a good student and justifying or explaining their responses (which is a great intro into using text evidence!)
I finish this activity by asking each student to choose one trait of a good student and copy their response onto a sticky note. Post the sticky notes onto a poster as a display and reminder of how well behaved students ac
