Have your students show what they know by reading and writing numbers from 0 to 1,000 using standard form, expanded form and word form. I also added a base ten form so they could model their number. This is a blank template so they can choose the number or you can assign them a number. I print this on pink and red astrobrights for a festive standards based bulletin board! Do your students struggle with 2 digit multiplication, or struggle with remembering the steps to solve? For those that do, this is a great resource to tape to their desks or attach to their homework. Turtle math was introduced to me this year, and honestly I was so confused. I could not remember the story behind it. I now say up, and over, smiley, over, up!
