This is a brief lesson (perhaps 1 hour) with YouTube video links to introduce a Grade 1 through Grade 5 class to dairy farming. The questions go along with the videos. In Grade 1 this would prove to be the whole lesson and perhaps take 4-5 days while in Grade 5 it could be a stand alone lesson or the start of a larger study in farming, dairy, or food studies.

Math problem solving that I built for a student obsessed with race cars and speed!
I forewarn that this is REAL WORLD math, not textbook, and as such can be a little messy! Students will have to make connections, estimations, and draw conclusions that might not all be the same but are, if explained properly, nonetheless correct.
