This is a brief lesson (perhaps 1 hour) with YouTube video links to introduce a Grade 1 through Grade 5 class to dairy farming. The questions go along with the videos. In Grade 1 this would prove to be the whole lesson and perhaps take 4-5 days while in Grade 5 it could be a stand alone lesson or the start of a larger study in farming, dairy, or food studies.
Excellent flight unit completed by a teacher who also happens to be a Private Pilot license holder (me!). Includes PROPERTIES OF AIR, barometers, etc. in workbook type form. Also includes questions related to NOVA's WRIGHT BROTHERS FLYING MACHINE documentary available online. Finally, includes aircraft instrumentation, control surfaces and instruments, as well as a post unit mini-quiz.
Answer key not included... but science teachers and informed adults should have no problems.
This is a work in progress I am posting. You will need some bitcoin background knowledge but an excellent framework to teach bitcoin to students is provided as well as video links, information links, etc.
Question worksheet for HBO's Earth to the Moon documentary series, episode 4: Spider. The questions provide a good basis from which teacher and student-led conversations can begin and also keep students engaged with the video.
Uploaded as a Word Document so you can change as you wish.
I designed this so that a substitute teacher could run the movie.
