Building Construction - Applying Knowledge of Area and Perimeter through STEM
This product contains student objectives, list of materials needed, project specifications, and a detailed directions sheet with reflection. There are four different project specifications to choose from. One example has the kids record and build a building with two walls having an area of 12 units and the other 8. Students will work together to find common factors to make sure the walls are the same height and cut them out of cardboard. They then work together to build a fence. See the pic

Experience
