Subtraction hunt game grade 1
Cut out the cards and stick around the room.
Each students get a worksheet and must look around room, solving simple subtraction sentences.
Students write answers in the grid, in the letter boxes.
Bit of fun, gets students out of their seat while consolidating subtraction strategies.

Basic Operations, Numbers, Order of Operations
Hidden/covered arrays for multiplication
Make your own covered arrays (print off an array and cover with a smaller piece of paper.
Students use their knowledge of skip counting, equal rows and columns, as well as multiplication to solve the arrays.
Use this worksheet as support.
