About the store
I have been teaching middle school math for over 20 years. I have taught all middle school grades in math and science. Currently, I am a math interventionist for 6th, 7th and 8th graders in Michigan. I am enjoying this new role and I am learning how to individualize instruction in new ways. It is extremely rewarding!

Volume & Surface Area BUNDLE--Justify Your Answers Cooperative Learning/No Prep
This resource is great for students to do in small groups. I like to have the students figure out the answer together and then justify their answers on their own. This gives students opportunities to see how their classmates solve the problem. The students enjoy doing the problems on large whiteboards and then sharing with the whole class. Each lesson includes five problems for students to solve. This is a great activity for MSTEP and NWEA practice. This resource could also be used as a quiz

Experience

Teaching style
I teach most of my lessons traditionally and utilize Kagan strategies. I am learning about Building Thinking Classrooms and I am realizing how valuable this strategy is for the middle school grades.
