This product was designed with Building Thinking Classrooms in mind. This resource was designed for a low floor high ceiling assignment or thin sliced lesson plan. This could be used for a lesson on introducing or developing addition, subtraction, multiplication and division of integers. The lesson begins with rote integer operations and ends with a word problems and and open ended discussion problem. This would be a great activity for a Formative Assessment and/or Exit Ticket. This activity is set up for practice converting rates. Some of the problems involve converting one unit and others require students to convert both units. This activity can be done in quiz, quiz, trade format in groups or pairs. This KAGAN Strategy is a student favorite! Formats: A Microsoft Word Document that is editable and a PDF file are included.

This activity includes 30 percent of change quiz, quiz, trade cards. There are percent of increase, percent of decrease and percent of error problems included. I have also included an answer sheet for students to show their work if needed. I have also included an interactive notebook page with the examples I used in my class.
