I have been teaching middle school math for over 20 years. I have taught all middle school grades in math and science. Currently, I am a math interventionist for 6th, 7th and 8th graders in Michigan. I am enjoying this new role and I am learning how to individualize instruction in new ways. It is extremely rewarding!

Experience

I have been teaching middle school math for over 20 years. I have taught all middle school grades in math and science. Currently, I am a math interventionist for 6th, 7th and 8th graders in Michigan. I am enjoying this new role and I am learning how to individualize instruction in new ways. It is extremely rewarding!

Teaching style

I teach most of my lessons traditionally and utilize Kagan strategies. I am learning about Building Thinking Classrooms and I am realizing how valuable this strategy is for the middle school grades.
