This product is a great activity for students to reinforce or enhance their fact and opinion skills. This fact and opinion activity was created to coincide with a lesson about George Washington Carver. I created a simple peanut template. I typed in facts and opinions about him and his life. Students work to identify which peanuts stated a fact or an opinion. This activity can be used with a whole group, small group, or by an individual.

I have been a teacher in the elementary field since 2008. This is my 8th official year teaching! I have taught 2nd grade for the past six years. Teaching is a dream come true for me.

Teaching style

My teaching style is a student centered approach. I love implementing exciting, hands-on, and meaningful activities. I strive to teach each child and not just my class. Therefore, I design my lessons and instruction to meet the needs of each student. I focus on the learning style that best meets their individual needs.
