This activity assesses students' abilities to solve multi-step equations. Some equations require multiple steps, combining like terms, and the distributive property. Equations may have one solution, no solution, or infinite solutions. The maze is meant to be a way for students to check their work. Students begin at the "Start" and have to lead Billy, a goat, to his friend, Wrigley, a dog. Answers should be adjacent (or diagonal) to previous answers.

Differentiate instruction for your Algebra 1 students by having them work in stations. Students will practice exponent properties that include the product of powers, power of powers, quotient, and negative exponents properties. Students should be divided into two groups. The blue group should consists of struggling learners and the red group should consists of more advanced learners. While the red problems are more rigorous, students do not really see a notable difference. Therefore, they do not

Students will work on solving quadratic equations by completing the square and have fun along the way by competing in a game.
