Fractals and Exponents - Sierpinski Triangle and Carpet
This packet leads students through the first few stages of two fractals - the Sierpinski Carpet and Sierpinski Triangle. After sketching the first few stages there is a worksheet for students to calculate side length, # of triangles/squares, and the remaining area of the figure at each stage. Additionally, a large blank Sierpinski Triangle and Carpet are available for a whole class activity of coloring and building a large scale fractal.

We also know that sometimes our students just need a good worksheet with plenty of drill and practice to master the skills being taught. We create worksheets that are clear and offer plenty of problems with varying levels of difficulty.
