This activity is a fun engaging way to get your students up and about while working order of operation questions. Students must solve problems to find their seat number. This can also be used to create seating charts for classes. Great for the first day of school and review game!

This is a short formative assessment where students are asked which number is largest, or to put numbers in order from least to greatest. This scaffolded assessment checks student's understanding of fractions, decimals, and percents, and how to compare them.

This is a task created to focus on converting numbers between fractions, decimals, and percents. Students will create their own drawing and then use number sense skills to determine the area of each color they incorporated into their drawing compared to the whole. Students are asked to give their answer as a fraction, decimal, and percent. This activity could be appropriate for 5th, 6th, or a review for 7th grade. Task is set up as a word doc and is editable for you specific students needs.
