Math by Kim

This is a task created to focus on converting numbers between fractions, decimals, and percents. Students will create their own drawing and then use number sense skills to determine the area of each color they incorporated into their drawing compared to the whole. Students are asked to give their answer as a fraction, decimal, and percent. This activity could be appropriate for 5th, 6th, or a review for 7th grade. Task is set up as a word doc and is editable for you specific students needs.
