This is a quick check in (quiz) I am using with my 6th grade class. It has 2 problems- one where students use a situation to make a ratio table and graph it. The other question has students reading a graph. They must use the information to say if the graph is proportional or not.
This Google Slideshow breaks fraction operation (addition and subtraction) word problems down to look at the context of the question being asked. I used this in my 6th grade classroom and it was so helpful! The word problems could be edited to be whole numbers or decimals problems as well. Break down questions into these types to help students problem solve: -Missing Whole or Whole Unknown -Missing Part or Part Unknown -Comparison: Subtraction Problem -Comparison: Addition Problem
