I just created these adorable worksheets for my 6th grade class so they can practice solving two-step equations. I added a St. Patrick's Day theme for March. This is a great power point to introduce the concept of evaluating expressions. Slides have a variety of problems where the students can substitute variables with different given values. This power point has three Number Properties Quizzes I use in my class to see if my students can identify the following properties: Commutative, Associative, Distributive, Identity, zero and Inverse. You can print them and hand them out for students to keep in their notes or be used as a quick quiz. I love to quickly flash them up on my board and quickly quiz them aloud.

I just made these hall passes for my classroom and thought I would share. Boys Bathroom Girls Bathroom Locker Pass Office Pass Lunch Pass Late Pass Print the passes out on card stock. Write your name and room number on the back of each pass (or use your stamp). Laminate the passes for continued use. Have a great year! Math Central

My students love creating this percent turkey every year. Its a great activity after you teach finding 10% of a number. Students can practice their mental math skills and enjoy decorating the turkey.
