A proofreading activity that describes the steps necessary to be able to correctly add and subtract decimal numbers. Great to practice proofreading skills while learning about addition and subtraction of decimals.
A problem trail that allows students to practice basic math operations with whole numbers. Teaches students to take their time and make sure answers are correct, or else they have to backtrack to find their mistake.
Approximately 10-minute video related to multiplying fractions. This video gives students examples, tips, hints, and includes eight total questions. Questions focused on multiplying fractions, but include some review on order of operations and ordering/comparing decimal numbers. This would be excellent for use in homeschooling, or Elearning/distance learning. This was created and used with a sixth-grade classroom, but could be used at a variety of student levels.
A great way to introduce the four basic operations of math to students, while incorporating Eng/LA standards. Students can read individually or in groups to learn the basics of the four operations, and then practice proofreading skills by finding a variety of mistakes. The student copy and answer key are both included.
