Experience

I am a certified teacher who has been in the classroom since 2007. In my 15 years I have taught 3rd, 5th and 6th grades in the traditional classroom. I have classroom experience with ESL and Advanced Academic (Gifted and Talented) learners. In 2018, I became an online teacher and have happily transitioned to an online environment. Teaching style

I believe in a classroom where learners are encouraged to be brave, try their best and see errors as learning experiences. My lessons are organized in mini lesson, guided practice, independent practice format to allow for a gradual release of independence.

My own education history

I have a B.S. in Elementary Education (K-6) and graduated with educational honors.

Additional biographical information
