These 21 Algebra II vocabulary quizzes can accompany normal chapter tests or be used as a pre-teaching tool. Vocabulary terms have been compiled from a variety of Algebra II textbooks and cover topics ranging from Real Numbers to Systems, Quadratics, Functions, Conic Sections, and Sequences. Each quiz has a word bank as well as an answer key. Quizzes are designed so word banks can be eliminated if desired.

Teaching style
I prefer for students to work in pairs. Students have a warm up activity and a review of concepts taught in the unit so far, then are taught a lesson and work in pairs to solve the day's problems. Each student is responsible for a math notebook containing vocabulary, examples, formulas, drawings, definitions. Homework is typically a review and practice assignment to be completed within a couple of days. Students have my home phone number, and can receive tutoring before or after school.
