Biology Part II: Genetics & Ecosystems
Included in this project are 30 rounds of questions pertaining to high school or upper level biology courses. Topics range from evolution to Earth's history, meiosis and chromosomes, populations and communities, DNA technology and eukaryotes. After each round is a self-checking answer key. Questions were obtained from multiple resources and not from a specific textbook. Use rounds as a daily warm-up, a study guide, a resource for a substitute, a preview of a final exam. By Math Fan

Teaching style
I prefer for students to work in pairs. Students have a warm up activity and a review of concepts taught in the unit so far, then are taught a lesson and work in pairs to solve the day's problems. Each student is responsible for a math notebook containing vocabulary, examples, formulas, drawings, definitions. Homework is typically a review and practice assignment to be completed within a couple of days. Students have my home phone number, and can receive tutoring before or after school.
