This file contains 8 colorful posters (classroom signs) containing information on length, weight, and capacity in both the customary system and the metric system. It also includes 4 printables that are perfect for individual work and to check student comprehension on converting between units. These printables are great for 5th and 6th grades students. I use the printables as a whole class independent project and also as a small group RTI cooperative learning assignment.

This is a lesson I like to use the week before Thanksgiving break. It is a review of concepts we have worked on during the semester, so students should be able to work independently. I will allow my students to use a calculator on the “Thanksgiving Feast” worksheet. Concepts include computation, ratios, and graphing on a coordinate plane.
