Polygons have names according to their sides. Use this table to help learn names and understand the difference between a polygon and a regular polygon.
This allows students to label a circle, describe radius to diameter and find circumference with which ever form of pi you wish. *It was written with the intention of using 3 for pi for 6th graders.
The labeling allows students to use colored pencils or markers which can help students with difficulties relate meaning to a description. Enjoy!
